, the information of which the team has kept closely guarded. The makers are now in the final lap of the films production and they have revealed that

Nikhil

has begun dubbing for the film. The film is being directed by

Telugu

filmmaker Vijay Kumar Konda and it stars Kashmira Pardeshi as the female lead.

The dubbing for the film is currently taking place at a studio in Bengaluru, and Nikhil has begun dubbing for his character. The film is being made as a

Kannada

and Telugu release, since Nikhil's previous films have also been released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is going to be his third film release after

Seetharama Kalyana

and

Jaguar

.

Nikhil is supposedly playing a basketball player in the film. He had earlier told

Bangalore Times

, "I have a deeper connect with the film because I have been involved in the scripting process. Rider is a commercial movie with a bit of sports as well that we are positioning as a mass entertainer." The actor and politician had also added that he is looking at collaborating with filmmaker Vijay Kumar on another commercial entertainer later this year.

Films apart, politics continues to be a major part of Nikhil’s life. “I am fortunate that people have accepted me in both the fields. When people shower so much love on you both in politics and films, it is only fair that I dedicate myself equally to both,” he had shared.
