After tasting success with Lucia, Neenasam Satish has been roped in by director Vijayaprasad for his upcoming film. The film is slated to be launched soon and the shooting is likely to being in January, 2014. The shooting for Vijayaprasad’s
Neer Dose has been held up several times. Produced by Sudhindra, the film first went on floors in October 2012, but the shooting only began in March 2013 after many controversial speculations, delays with regards to the casting and other production issues.
Shooting was stalled again due to lead actress Ramya’s political stint.
Ramya had announced that she would quit films just before the May assembly bypolls. The actor-turned-politician is a part of four films, the shooting for which she has committed to complete. But with the fast approaching Lok Sabha elections, the fate of those films are hanging in balance. Ramya has barely two months to complete shooting for all four films —
Aryan, Neer Dose, Dil Ka Raja and a yet-to-be-titled bilingual film by
Kodi Ramakrishna. She can only allot dates for
Neer Dose, which is half done, once the shooting of
Aryan is completed. In the meantime, it looks like Vijayaprasad is keeping himself busy by lining up his film with Satish.
