Navneet Kaur goes grey for Kempegowda 2

Navneet Kaur, a marketing professional-turned-actress, debuts with the Kannada film Kempegowda 2, directed by Shankar Gowda, which has Komal Kumar in the lead. “Navneet plays a character with shades of grey; the villain Sreesanth’s sister. Her character brings in a few twists in the tale, when she falls in love with the hero,” explains Shankar. As for Navneet, she says that the role felt perfectly in sync with how she is in real life.“I had three rounds of auditions for the role and I figured this is the right launchpad for me. I play a tomboy in the film and that’s pretty much how I am in real life,” she says. The film also stars Niva Sharma in the lead.
