National award-winning director Mansore has been named in a dowry harassment case filed by his wife, Akhila. On Sunday, Akhila filed a dowry harassment case against Manjunath Somashekara Reddy aka Mansore at a police station in Bengaluru. In her complaint, Akhila alleged that Mansore and his mother are “demanding a car worth `30 lakh from her parents”. In the FIR, Akhila mentioned that “her family had given Mansore a sum of `10 lakh during Covid to complete his film after he demanded the same from her”. Mansore is known for directing off-beat films such as Naticharami, ACT 1978 and 19.20.21. Mansore was unavailable for comment
