Napolean in Ponnar-Shankar

The last time we saw him essay a king���������s role was in Kamal Haasan���������s Dasavatharam, that hit screens three years ago.
And now, the tall and sturdy Napolean is all set to don the role of a royal in Prashanth���������s upcoming historical venture Ponnar-Shankar.
���������It���������s a great opportunity to act in a magnum opus like this one.I used to think that if I became an actor, I would act in a film like Sivaji Ganesan���������s Parasakthi, for which Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had penned the script and dialogues. But unfortunately, I wasn���������t born then. Watching such films triggered the acting craze in me and when I got the chance to act in Puthu Nellu Puthu Naathu, my joy knew no bounds,��������� says the actor.
Napolean is now gearing up for the release of Ponnar-Shankar, which is expected to hit screens next week.
���������This time around, I am doubly delighted as I am acting in a film for which Kalaignar Karunanidhi has penned the script. After all, it was my dream to act in a film in which he was involved in a big way,��������� adds the veteran actor.
