Nakul Gowda is Manvitha’s leading man in PC Shekhar’s next

An entrepreneur-turned-actor, Nakul Gowda is an accidental actor. “I had just started my stint in business when my father's friend mentioned that I should join films. Soon after, I took acting classes and the training further motivated me to become an actor. My father had also once nursed dreams of acting and I guess that further fuelled me to get into films. I still remember watching him rehearse for plays when he used to do theatre,” shares Nakul.
Having already done a film - Preethiya Rayabhari - Nakul is elated that he gets to work with director PC Shekhar in his second film. “This is PC sir’s 10th film and he needs no attestation of his talent. He’s subtle in what he does and I like his kind of filmmaking,” avers Nakul. What he is truly happy about is that he plays leading man to Manvitha Harish. “She’s a wonderful girl. I remember the first two days, we didn’t speak much. Then, we got along like a house on fire. She’s a live wire on set and now we’re the best of friends,” he tells us.

His role in the film is that of a garage owner who deals with petty settlements. “He’s a local rowdy and looks tough - sporting a typical beard and disheveled hair. My character sports two looks…one before Manvitha enters his life and another post that. The look is rather interesting and I’m thrilled that I got to play such a character so early in my career,” shares Nakul.
Seeing the crackling chemistry between him and Manvitha, Shekar has decided to cast them again in another film. “Details are being worked out and I can’t wait to get started with that film,” signs off Nakul.
