For
Prajwal Devaraj, or PD, as he is fondly referred to, shooting in Mysuru is always a pleasure. The actor is currently filming his upcoming flick, Gana, in the royal city and is relaxed about being there. "It’s almost a second home now. I shoot here quite often," he says. Talking about the movie, PD says it is science fiction. He plays a reporter. "Two timelines that run parallel in the plot.
I live in the present and rescue someone from the past. The director has managed to beautifully bring this on track," shares Prajwal.
The project is directed by Hari Prasad, who worked with
Sukumar earlier. He is also the script writer for Nanaku Prematho and Nenokkadene. "Hari and Sukumar worked together as lecturers in college, and he taught physics. That’s how he came to write this story. His long acquaintance with science has been an edge for the story," shares PD, who sports a stubble in the flick.
The actor recently acted in Abbara too and is thrilled about its brilliant songs. "It has been a good time personally too. My wife Ragini, parents, and brother came to Mysuru recently to celebrate my dad’s birthday. It was sweet of them to come all the way so I could be part of the celebration. We love celebrating birthdays together," sums up Prajwal.
