Director TS Nagashekar's next venture Mynaa has created a record of sorts. The film's music has been purchased by mobile company
Nokia for a hefty price and making the film create a landmark in
Sandalwood history. The music of the film, including videos, will be loaded in one of the mobile-makers' latest handset that will be released in the market.
Director Nagashekar says, "We are extremely glad that our film was considered for such an opportunity. It is a big deal for our industry and I'm proud. The makers liked the songs and the videos, which is the reason why they narrowed in on our film."
Mynaa, which stars Chetan and Nithya Menen in the lead, is slated for a February release. The film has already made news ever since Suriya's production house, Studio Green, evinced interest in buying the film. With the music of the film being bought by Nokia, this adds a lot more laurels to Nagashekar, whose previous outing Sanju Weds Geetha is still fondly remembered by Sandalwood fans.
