My new hairstyle must have something to do with the offers interesting film offers pouring in: Kavya Shastry

Actress Kavya Shastry is excited about the role she has signed up for in the bilingual – Love 360 that is being directed by Shashank. The film also stars debutant Praveen and Rachana Inder in the lead roles, and Kavya has signed up to play the antagonist – for the first time in her career.
“It’s very rare that young female actors get the opportunity to portray a character with negative shades.Shashank writes each character in such a way that it carries meaning and depth. In this story, I play the role of a glamorous girl called Shilpa who comes into the life of a couple.”
While she has been popular for her roles on the telly, Kavya has been busy shooting for films lately – one which also stars Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar. Interestingly, the actress credits the change in the kind of offers coming her way to her new hairstyle. “Post my stint on television, I was keen on pursuing a career in films. I had not got many offers though. However, after I tried out a new hairstyle and posted pictures on social media, interesting offers started pouring in. It is probably my new look that has impressed filmmakers,” she laughs.
