Music winners of Filmfare Kannada 2018 get candid

Dr V Nagendra Prasad won the award for Best Lyrics for Chowka’s Appa I Love You. He says, “I think this award will remain extra special, since this song has that special feeling which will linger for long in people’s memories. Honouring my lyrics with this award is only adding to that special memory this song has created.” Singer Anuradha Bhat, who bagged her second Black Lady for the same song, also shared the same sentiments. “I am grateful for winning the award for the second time and for this song, particularly, as it is very close to my heart,” she says.
Armaan Malik, who picked up the Best Playback (Male) for Ondu Malebillu, says, “I am glad that I have now won a Filmfare for a South Indian language, especially for one composed by Arjun Janya.
