In the wee hours of Thursday morning, at 2.20 am, Milana Nagaraj and Krishna became parents to a baby girl. “She’s cute, just like Milana and also a little chubby,” says Krishna. Gushing about his baby girl, he tells us that he’s still wrapping his head around the fact that he’s a father now. “All the reading up of books and breathing techniques can’t prepare you enough for this moment. Milana went through so much labour pain, but she was so strong... I think it’s her athlete genes that kicked in. I was with her in the labour room and kept counting with her during the contractions and telling her what a ‘wonder woman’ she is. At one point, I had to step away from the OT to cry. I could not bear to see my wife in pain. My respect for womankind has gone up a hundred folds after this,” Krishna tells us. The happy parents always wanted a girl and are currently just calling her ‘paapu’.
