Meet the leading ladies of romcom Dil Pasand

Romantic comedy Dil Pasand, releasing this weekend, brings together Darling Krishna, Nishvika Naidu and Megha Shetty on screen. Here’s a peek into the female characters from the Shiva Tejass directorial.

Megha Shetty: A smooth transition
Dil Pasand marks Megha Shetty’s Sandalwood debut. She rose to fame with the TV serial, Jothe Jotheyalli, by portraying Anu Sirimane. Excited about her debut, she says, “I play an innocent girl called Minchu and her innocence is rare in today’s world and this sets my role apart. She always obeys her parents and grandmother. When my family decides to get me married, I meet a guy called Santhosh, which brings in a twist.”
Megha is happy about the smooth transition from the small screen to the silver screen. “Credit goes to the entire team. They created an atmosphere in which I could be at ease. Despite being a fresh face, they were all very co-operative, Darling Krishna is a fantastic co-star and I got to learn a lot from him. I hope people accept me wholeheartedly as they did on the small screen.”

Nishvika Naidu: The ultra-modern girl
Actress Nishvika Naidu is sharing screen space with Darling Krishna for the first time. According to director Shiva Tejass, “She plays an ultra-modern, but very emotional girl, called Aishwarya. There is a strong reason behind her behaviour in the movie.”
