Mayura to bring Shankar Nag back on the silver screen

Shankar Nag’s contribution to the cinema is immense. On the occasion of the late actor’s birthday on November 9, team of the upcoming film Aba Jaba Daba, helmed by Mayura Raghavendra, is making preparations to bring the actor back on silver screen.

“I am a die-hard fan of Shankar Nag. I have seen all his films, inlcuding his last film, Nigooda Rahasya. But, I have never been able to experience Shankar Nag on silver screen. I was just five-years-old when he passed away. This is our way of bringing him back onscreen,” shares Mayura. “The film, in fact, begins with Shankar Nag’s entry. He comes alive to see one of his long-term dreams realised,” he says, adding that a special team in Mumbai is working on it. There will be no CGI or graphics. If you look at the latest poster, you can see Nandi Hills and a ropeway; this was also one of Shankar Nag’s dreams. So, we have used that in the poster.”
