I really liked the subject when JK told me about it and helped him add a few elements that heighten the curiosity and thrill factor. I also got him to add a fight and a couple of songs. But the most important part is that as a horror film we have taken extra care to ensure that the portrayal of a ghost is not as ghastly as we see in most films. JK has a lot of family audience fans, including kids, and we did not want to exclude them from watching this film,” says Nagendra.
JK adds that the background score and cinematography elevate the narrative. “May 1st is a technically well-made film that will truly involve the audience in what is going on onscreen. The visuals, by four budding cinematographers, will be a treat,” adds the actor.
