‘Max’ box office collections day 2: Kichcha Sudeep’s film rakes in more than Rs 12 crores

Kichcha Sudeep’s recently released action entertainer ‘Max’ has started its box office journey and within two days the movie has collected more than Rs 12 crores.


According to the Sacnilk website Vijay Karthikeyaa’s directorial action flick minted Rs 12.70 crores in 2 days from India and on day 2, the movie had raked in Rs 4 crores as per the early estimates by the website.

On day 1, the Kichcha Sudeep starrer had collected Rs 8.7 crores. If we look closely, a huge dip happened on day 2, and the movie may need a huge recovery from this to maintain a hit status.


Regarding occupancy rates, ‘Max’ had an overall 47.94 percent Kannada occupancy on day 2, Thursday with morning shows at 22.29 percent, afternoon shows at 50.97 percent, evening shows at 56.53 percent, and 61.98 percent in night shows.



Kichcha Sudeep steps into the role of inspector Arjun Mahakshay in this thriller movie. The plot thickens as Arjun faces an unexpected situation and is out to save cops within 12 hours. The movie is a fast-paced thriller.


ETimes rated the film with a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars and our review reads, “Technically, the film is shot exceptionally well, especially in the last few minutes. It sets the screen on fire. Set only in minimum locations, as the movie takes place overnight, director Vijay Karthikeya packs in a tight script, pumping adrenaline in at all the right places. The first half, albeit a little slow, keeps the audience hooked to the screen because of its paced narration. The second half unveils the demon that Sudeep is, as an actor and a performer. Music composer Ajaneesh Loknath is the unsung hero here who carefully stitches some top notch tunes into fiery action sequences.”
