'Max' box office collection Day 4: Kichcha Sudeep's sees a steady growth; collects Rs 22.25 crore

Kichcha Sudeep's latest film, 'Max', has shown promising growth at the box office since its release on December 25, 2024. The action thriller, directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, made a strong debut, earning Rs 8.7 crore on its opening day. Despite a slight dip in collections on the second day, the film rebounded with an impressive Rs 5 crore on its first Saturday.

As per Sacnilk's reports, the film made over Rs 3.85 crore on day 2, collected Rs 4.7 crore on Day 3 and the first Saturday made Rs 5 crore. This brings the total collection to approximately Rs 22.25 crore within just four days of its release.


The film has enjoyed a solid occupancy rate, particularly in Kannada screenings, with an overall occupancy of 43.13% on its fourth day. The breakdown shows morning shows at 18.21%, afternoon shows at 48.19%, evening shows at 52.04%, and night shows peaking at 54.08%.

'Max' also performed decently in Telugu and Tamil markets, with occupancy rates of 16.97% and 28.81%, respectively.

'Max' cast also includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, Pramod Shetty, Redin Kingsley, and Sunil Varma in significant roles. The film follows Inspector Arjun Mahakshay (played by Sudeep), who returns to duty after a suspension and faces various challenges as he seeks to prove himself.

The positive response from audiences and the steady increase in box office collections suggest that 'Max' is well on its way to becoming one of the highest-grossing Kannada films of the year.
