Master Anand opens up about Dr. Vishnuvardhan, explains the reason for his silence

The ongoing Dr. Vishnuvardhan controversy has led to many bigwigs of the industry to speak up against Telugu actor/stuntman Vijay Rangaraju. In their appeal demanding an apology and also denouncing his words, actors such as Sudeep, Puneeth Rajkumar, Jaggesh, Rakshit Shetty, and many others shared their respective opinions through social media.

However, one wondered why actor Master Manjunath, who once acted in many films as a child performer alongside Dr. Vishnvardhan, was mum about the whole situation. When the entire industry was crusading against Vijay Rangaraju and his uncouth words, it was rather strange that Master Anand would keep quiet regarding the issue.

However, squashing all doubts regarding his silence, Master Anand released a short video on social media to explain his side of the story and the reasons behind him not speaking up. Quite early on in the video, he suggests that his respect and admiration for Dr. Vishnuvardhan can't be judged upon the fact that there hasn't been any comment from his end regarding the issue. Since the matter is quite delicate, Master Anand cites that it was up to the seniors in the industry to make a call regarding the response and it wouldn't be wise for a comparatively young performer such as himself to speak out of turn. Master Anand shared the video through the Dr. Vishnu Sena Samiti Facebook page.

In the video, explaining his stance, he also shares the fact that he has been in constant touch with relevant people and had expressed his share of grief regarding the nasty comments made by Vijay Rangaraju. Since the matter came to a natural conclusion when Vijay Rangaraju released the apology video, Master Anand too felt that it was time to close the chapter.

On the other hand, the industry indeed came together as a single unit to voice their solidarity and ensured that Dr. Vishnuvardhan's legacy wasn't to be taken lightly.
