Massive publicity drive for Chaddi Dost?

If reports are to be believed Kannada movie Chaddi Dost will have a massive publicity drive to promote the film among the audience. It seems the makers of the film have taken a leaf from Bollywood, where producers are spending half the budget of a film in promoting the movie.
All these while, director of Chaddi Dost, PC Shekar, maintained secrecy and did not reveal much about the film.The film stars Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila. Going by the title and cast of the film, Chaddi Dost is likely to be a comedy with lot of male bonding in it. The shooting of the film got over recently. The makers of Chaddi Dost will start their publicity drive by unveiling the trailer of the film soon. The film has been produced by Anand Production.
Now, it has to be seen whether the ‘publicity drive’ to be undertaken by the makers will help in the success of Chaddi Dost.
