Filmmaker D

Sathya Prakash

is quite excited about his third

directorial

, which he has called

Man of the Match

. Despite the title, though, Sathya explains that his film is not a sports drama, and is, instead, a fun take on a bunch of contemporary issues, which he will attempt to present in a single setting. It’s a

challenge

, he adds, but one that he is looking forward to, as he goes on floors in the first week of April.

“Man of the Match is my attempt at the commercial genre, albeit one for which I will be following a realistic approach. The film will have multiple characters, each of who will voice his/her perspective on a bunch of social issues, as told in the span of a day. After the title launch today, we will begin shooting on April 1. While I have retained the technical team of my debut

for this film, details on the cast will be finalised shortly,” he explains.
