Malayalam cinema has strong female roles, says Kavya Shetty

Bengaluru-based actor Kavya Shetty has chosen to return to Malayalam cinema for a reason. “Malayalam movies have really good scripts, and strong roles for female characters too,” she states. The film, touted to be a suspense thriller, also marks the directorial debut of Jagan Shaji Kailas. Kavya is set to share screen space alongside Siju Wilson, Renji Panicker and Gowri Nanda. “Here too, the story has equal importance to the female characters,” she says.
