Malavalli Saikrishna turns director

One of the prominent dialogue writers of Sandalwood, who has penned dialogues for more than 40 Kannada films, Mallavali Saikrishna will direct a movie based on serial rapist Umesh Reddy. The movie is scheduled to launch on February 14. Ravi Kale is playing the role of Umesh Reddy in the movie. Sandalwood starlet Roopika is playing an important role in the movie.The photo shoot of the movie was recently held in Bangalore. Saikrishna has penned the dialogues for blockbuster movies like Jogi as well as the recently-released Prem Adda. Even though there were speculations that Saikrishna will take up a movie which will have Shivrajkumar in the lead, he has taken up a real life story.
