Malashri gets in the hot seat

It was a bittersweet moment for actress Malashri when she arrived on the set of Kannadada Kotyadipathi, the Kannada version of Kaun Banega Crorepati?, which is hosted by Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar.
Malashri, who shot to fame in the film Nanjundi Kalyana that starred Puneeth's older brother Puneeth Rajkumar, went into flashback mode in the episode, which was an Ugadi special.And even though she is known to be the action queen of Sandalwood, she admitted to being nervous about making an appearance on the knowledge-based reality game show.
Dressed in a blue sari, Malashri, also got a 'koti' (Rs 1 crore), out of which she donated Rs 6.4 lakh to an the old-age home.
The Ugadi special with Malashri will be telecast on April 11 at 8 pm on the Suvarana Satellite channel.
