Malashree does this for the first time

Malashree will be seen in what she calls a 'very special appearance' in John Jani Janardhan, which is slated to release next week. The actress, who says the role is small but powerful, is excited about her cameo as it is through her character that a message is conveyed in a powerful manner. And she will be seen doing what she does best ' playing a cop.

'My character is connected to the story and it is a powerful role. I play a cop, and I have punchy dialogues; an important message is conveyed in the film through my character. This is the first time that people will see me in a special appearance, which I agreed to since the director, banner and subject all appealed to me. In fact, the director (Guru Deshpande) said that only I could do justice to the role, and when I essayed the part, I also felt the same way ' it had to be me,' says Malashree.
