When it released on this day, last year, Love Mocktail 2 went on to up the success quotient already witnessed by its previous instalment, Love Mocktail 1. “Both Krishna and I are still reaping in the praise that came for both Love Mocktail Part 1 and 2. While Love Mocktail 1 arrived in theatres just before the pandemic on January 31 and on OTT during lockdown, Love Mocktail Part 2 released on February 11 last year. Since the first part had already become such a hit, part 2 had raised a lot of expectations and audiences were waiting for it in theatres. It did really well and all our efforts paid off,” shares Milana. The film which was directed by her husband Darling Krishna, saw her character of Nidhima being loved and feted by fans.
“The kind of love the audience gave us was unbelievable. The film changed our career and life and we still continue to soak in the praise for both films,” shares Milana who was also involved in the writing of the film along with Krishna. With cinematography by Sri Crazymindz and music by Raghu Dixit and Nakul Abhyankar, the film also starred Rachel David and Amrutha Iyengar. Meanwhile, Milana and Krishna are now looking forward to their upcoming film Love Birds by PC Shekhar.
