Lekha happy about turning bride

Sandalwood filmHuduga Hudugi actress Lekha Washington is thrilled about playing a south-Indian bride in her forthcoming Tamil romantic-comedy Kalyana Samayal Saadham (KSS).
Lekha, who has acted opposite Dhyan in Indrajit Lankesh's comedy flick Huduga Hudugi, is paired opposite Prasanna Venkatesan in her upcoming film. The story is said to be about the chaos of a big fat south-Indian wedding.The actress, who claims to be inundated by offbeat roles, says she is thankful to KSS for giving her the opportunity to play heroine for the first time. Lekha, is said to have thoroughly enjoyed playing the bride because of all the special 'bride like' attention she got on the sets.
KSS is directed by debutante RS Prasanna and features actors Delhi Ganesh and Uma Padmanabhan in pivotal roles. Arun Vaidyanathan and Ananth Govindan have jointly produced the film, which is currently in the post-production phase.
