Lalbaug is now Paapasu Kalli

The Neenasam Sathish-Sonu Gowda starrer will be now called Paapasu Kalli.
The film directed by Gadda Viji, assistant of director Yogaraj Bhat, who makes his debut as a director with this film, was originally called Lalbaug. After a series of changes, Viji is convinced that this title will work well for the film. In fact, since its making, the film had several working titles even before Lalbaug was confirmed.
However, it was reported that another budding director had registered the title Lalbaug at the Karnataka Film Chamber. Even though Viji met him personally and requested him for the title, we hear that the budding director didn't want to change as the title suited perfectly for his movie. Nevertheless, Viji immediately changed the title to Paapasu Kalli.
The film is based on jailor's life and has director Yogaraj Bhat playing a role of a jailor in the film, along with Neensam Sathish, who is the protagonist of the movie. This will mark Yogaraj Bhat's debut as an actor as well. Sonu Gowda will play the role of a journalist in the film.
