"It was our team's desire to see Sudeep playing Lakshmana's role. But Sudeep is busy with other movies. Kishore, who has worked with me for many years, is doing that role now. Kishore is agreeing to do this role,” said director Radhakrishna Pallaki.
Sindhura Lakshmana was a freedom fighter, who fought against the British in the 1920s. Lakshmana remains a popular figure in songs and books, and now the director has planned him to bring on the screen to show his struggle to the people.
