Well-known Bangalore-based kickboxer Likith Raj Urs will make his Kannada movie debut with the romantic film Lovi-Dovi. The movie is being directed by AC Vijaykumar, who worked as an assistant for directors like H Vasu, Anand P Raju and Vijaykumar. The shoot for Lovi-Dovi will start next week. The supporting cast includes
Ramesh Bhat and
Sudha Belawadi. The film will have three female leads and the hunt for the actresses to play these roles is on.
The director has said that he is keen on casting newcomers to play the female leads.
The shoot for the movie will be in Bangalore and Mysore. The songs will be shot in locations like as Chikmagalur, Sakleshpur and Theerthahalli. The shoot for the movie will be conducted in a single 40-day schedule.
Vijaykumar has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie, while Tarun Samad has composed the music and provided the background score. Anand is the cinematographer for the movie; Rajesh Brahmavar and Murali will choreograph the songs; Johnny will compose the stunt sequences.
Likith has already acted in a Kannada movie titled Kaarana, but the movie is lying in the cans. He has acted in several Hindi movies as a supporting actor. His next Hindi movie, Baboos, is ready for release.
