Kichcha Sudeep confirms 'Billa Ranga Baasha' shoot to begin on THIS date

Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep is gearing up to begin shooting for his much-anticipated film 'Billa Ranga Baasha,' after the success of his recent movie 'Max.' The film will be directed by Anup Bhandari has been in the pipeline since its announcement in 2018. Sudeep recently took to social media to share a significant update.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), where he stated that the filming will commence in the second week of March 2025. His post reads, "And yea... #BRB hits floor from March 2nd week."

Fans had mixed reactions to the announcement. While some expressed excitement for the film, others voiced their frustration over the delays, questioning the shifting timelines from December to February and now to March. Despite the concerns, many supporters are eagerly anticipating the film's release, with one fan noting the immense ground-level hype surrounding 'Billa Ranga Baasha.'

The film is set in a futuristic world in 2209 AD and is being positioned as a pan-Indian release. To celebrate Sudeep's birthday, the makers shared a concept video that unveiled the official title logo and hinted at a dystopian narrative. The visuals featured iconic landmarks like the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower but depicted them in a damaged and abandoned state.

'Billa Ranga Baasha' is touted to be an ambitious project for both Sudeep and Bhandari. The film is reportedly being developed as a two-part tale, with production taking place on a large set that has been constructed on four acres of land outside Bengaluru.

The film marks Kichacha Sudeep's another project with Anup Bhandari after their successful outing with the 2022 hit film 'Vikrant Rona'.
