Kichcha Sudeep bids farewell to 'Bigg Boss Kannada': Pens heartfelt note, 'Coming finale will be my last as a host'

Kannada star Kichcha Sudeep, has announced that he will step down as the host of 'Bigg Boss' Kannada after the current season, marking the end of an era for the popular reality show. Known for his charismatic presence and engaging style, Sudeep has been the face of Bigg Boss Kannada since its inception in 2013, hosting the show for eleven successful seasons.

On X (formerly Twitter), Sudeep expressed his gratitude to the audience for their support over the years. He mentioned how much he enjoyed being part of such a well-received program and acknowledged that the upcoming finale would be his last as host. He described it as an unforgettable journey.

On the acting front, he was last seen in 'Max' which was released in theatres on December 25, 2024, and has garnered attention for its gripping storyline and action-packed sequences. Directed by debutant Vijay Kartikeyaa, the film features Sudeep in the role of Inspector Arjun Mahakshay, who must protect his police station and subordinates after a dangerous situation arises involving two well-connected criminals.

The film performed well at the box office, especially during its opening week, but it faced stiff competition from other major releases.
