Kiccha Sudeep opens up about coping with his mother's loss

Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep is currently going through a difficult period following the loss of his mother, Saroja Sanjeev, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 86. Currently working on the promotions of his upcoming film, 'Max' which is set to release on December 25th, 2025, the actor recently shared his deep emotional unrest.

Sudeep fondly remembered his daily routine of sending pictures of himself dressed up for hosting Bigg Boss Kannada to his mother. He expressed how much he cherished their playful conversations and her teasing remarks. The actor revealed that he would always make it a point to connect with her through video calls and messages.

During the promotional events, Sudeep opened up about the helplessness he felt while witnessing his mother's struggle in her final moments. He described how he was unable to be by her side when she needed him most, which added to his feelings of guilt and sorrow. Despite this emotional burden, he found strength in his responsibilities as a public figure and decided to continue working on 'Max', understanding that many people depend on him for their livelihoods.

He said, “I initially wore simple kurtas for a few episodes but eventually returned to wearing designer outfits. I feel a sense of responsibility and duty to work for others, as their livelihoods depend on me and my performances."

He expressed that the absence of his mother hurts more than any financial struggle he has faced throughout his career.
