The Kannada film Khatarnak, which is based on the infamous rapist Umesh Reddy, has been awarded an A Certificate by the Revising Committee of the Censor Board. The film will release on November 22. At first, the Regional Board for Film Certification had given the film an A Certificate and recommended that several cuts be made to it. The team behind the film then decided to go to the Revising Committee and get the film censored.
The Revising Committee gave the film an A certificate, after which the release date was set.
