‘KGF: Chapter 2’ box office collection day 28: Yash starrer earns Rs.1169.71 cr, becomes highest-grossing film overseas post-pandemic

‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is one of the supreme examples of how to give complete justice to the first part of a movie as the second installment aced at every department ranging from terrific writing, and editing to a magnificent execution-style coupled with the swag of Yash as the character Rocky Bhai. Now, as per the reports, the Yash starrer has become the highest-grossing film overseas post-pandemic as it has reportedly earned $9m and minted Rs 560 crores worldwide.

According to the sources, the collection breakdown for ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ overseas can be ascertained as follows; In Australia, the film earned over $2.6m, in North America, the Yash starrer crossed $3.30 million, and in Gulf and United Kingdom, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ has earned over $2.1 million and £500 k respectively.Surprisingly, with the Hollywood film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ as the competitor, the Yash starrer is holding well in the overseas market and even at the Indian box office.
‘KGF Chapter 2’, earning $2.6 million in Australia, has made it the third biggest Hindi film to earn that much after ‘Padmaavat’, and ‘Dangal’. The film that reportedly earned Rs. 1169.71 crores worldwide, is now inching towards a whopping amount of Rs 1200 crores and the journey would be a cakewalk for Prashant Neel’s directorial film considering the rave response it's getting from the audience.
Helmed by Prashanth Neel, ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ told the life of Rocky Bhai whose name strikes fear in the hearts of his enemies as he captures Kolar Gold Fields by killing off his biggest foe Garuda. The second installment followed from the point where the first part ended. Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Prakash Raj also played supreme roles in the second installment of ‘KGF’.
