KGF actor Tarak Ponnappa roped in to play alpha male in Junior NTR’s Devara

KGF actor Tarak Ponnappa has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Junior NTR’s upcoming pan-India film, Devara. The actor has already shot his scenes for over a week in Hyderabad during the first schedule and will be flying again next month to join the team for the next schedule.

An elated Tarak reveals, “I was shooting for a Telugu project when I got this opportunity. I auditioned for my role and that’s how I got in. I play an alpha male who wants things to go his way. The movie is shaping up really well and the sets are magnanimous. A lot of time has been spent on pre-production and one can soon see the hard work put in to create those sets.”

Tarak also met Junior NTR and Saif Ali Khan during the shoot and even had a small KGF reunion with director Prashant Neel, who was also on the sets of Devara.

Tarak shot to fame after playing the role of Daya in magnum opus KGF.

Devara, one of the most expected pan-India films, written and directed by Koratala Siva, also has Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan and Janhavi Kapoor in pivotal roles. The movie marks South debut of both actors.
