Kannada film director Kavitha Lankesh is back with a new film titled Kariya Kanbitta. The film, which is all set to go on the floors in the first week of October, is being produced by Auditor Srinivas. This movie is based on Subbu Holeyar's short story and stars Master Pradhyumna and others in prominent roles. The shoot will be held in the forests of Kanakapura and other places.
Kavitha started her film career with a documentary on a children's nature camp titled
Deveeri. It was based on a short story by P. Lankesh. It won several State, National and international awards, including the International Critics Award and the National Debut Director Award. Her last film was the 2012 release
Crazy Loka.
