Karthik Jayaram’s next is a suspense thriller

Actor Karthik Jayaram, aka Jk, will be seen in the new movie Iravan, which has Advithi Shetty in the female lead. The project is helmed by Rams Ranga who is making his debut in Sandalwood. Sharing the pictures of the muhurtha, Karthik, on his Instagram page, posted, “ ಹೊಸ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರ ಅದ್ಬುತ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ "Iravan"Story Screenplay Direction: Rams Ranga Producer : Dr Niranthara.DOP: Devendra(sic).”
Iravan, which is touted as a suspense thriller, sees JK sharing screen space with Advithi Shetty for the first time on the silver screen. The film team is planning to complete the shoot in one schedule, by shooting in Bengaluru and Mangaluru. The project will also see Avinash, Vivek and Krishna Hebbar in prominent roles. Devendra is the cinematographer and Arjun is the stunt master. JK’s last film to hit screens was Oh Pushpa I Hate Tears, in February.
The actor recently lent his voice for the mythological serial Seetheya Rama, which is the dubbed version of the show Siya Ke Raam. He had shared the video clip of the dubbing on his Instagram page. In the first week of October, the actor had visited Chamundeshwari Temple. He had also said that dubbing is fine for mythological shows like Mahabharatha and Radha Krishna.
