The Karnataka Assembly session has condoled the untimely death of national award-winning actor Sanchari Vijay who passed away in June in a road accident. Former Chief Minister and opposition leader Siddaramaiah and minister

paid tributes to Sanchari Vijay today.

In the ongoing assembly session, Siddaramaiah said, “Sanchari Vijay is a very talented actor. It is not easy to portray the role of a transgender which has been done flawlessly by Vijay in the movie Naanu Avanalla Avalu. Though, I have not seen the movie, people have appreciated his character.”

Recalling the earlier days of

Sanchari

VIjay, Madhu Swamy said, “Vijay stayed in

Tiptur

during his college days. After completing engineering, he got into teaching profession for a brief period. His passion for acting made him to venture into film field from being a stage actor. He had also got associated with Sanchari theatre troupe where he learnt acting skills.”

Meanwhile, the late actor will be back on the silver screen with the movie

Puksatte Lifu

which is getting released on September 17.
