Kantara prequel to feature crew from across south Indian states

The first look of Kantara 2 will be released today at the muhurat of the film that will be held at a historic temple in Kundapura. While the mahurat will include only the cast and crew for the film, it is interesting to note that this time, the crew includes artistes from south Indian states. A source tells us, “A mega audition was held recently. There were so many applicants from all languages at the audition – from Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and even Hindi film industries. Around 115 were short-listed in the second round. After that, Rishab himself sat for the third and final round and 15 artistes were chosen as part of the cast.”
