Breaking regional boundaries, Sandalwood and Tollywood stars have come together for a special Sankranti song called Sankranti Takathai. The bi-lingual track made in Telugu and Kannada, features Pruthvi Ambaar, Radhika Narayan, Harshika Poonacha, Maanas Nagulapalli, Keerti Bhat and Nikhil Maliyakkal.
We hear there’s a special appearance by Ramesh Aravind, though the team has kept this rather hushed.
“It’s a beautiful melange of both industries and beautifully conveys the spirit of the festival,” sums up Radhika Narayan on behalf of her team. The number was shot in Bengaluru and Hyderabad and has been sung and composed by Anoop Menon and Lakshmi Hoysal. Anee master, a senior choreographer who has worked in over 400 south films, has directed the song.
