Kannada remake of Chennai 600028 to star CCL4 players

The Kannada remake of Tamil sports comedy Chennai 600028, will star some of the top players from Karnataka Bulldozers who won the recently concluded Celebrity Cricket League season 4. The film will be directed by Pradeep Raj.
Sources say the untitled film with cricket as backdrop will star Karnataka Bulldozers vice-captain Karthik Jayaram, all rounders - Rajeev and Dhruv Sharma in lead roles.
The original film, released in 2007, was written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, who made his directorial debut with the movie.
The film was based on street cricket, focussing on various themes as friendship, love and rivalry in a suburban area. The story was about two local cricket league teams that compete against each other in local matches and consider each other as sworn enemies.
