. Recently, a meeting was held with all the stars on how to help people in the industry. Another meeting was held on Saturday with producers where
Sarah Govindu
, NM Suresh,
Rajendra Singh Babu, Umesh Banakar and many others were present.
Currently, the Kannada film industry is facing many challenges. The biggest problem is reopening the movie theatre. The lockdown effect has continued for four months and the theatres are still closed. The Government has not given permission for screening even though the lockdown has been lifted. This has become a huge problem for all the producers and the theatre owners.
According to a report, an appeal is being made to the Chief Ministers of Karnataka asking him for his permission to open theatres and start the screenings of the films.
This meeting with the producers and directors went for a long time and they have discussed many issues. The report also added that Shivarajkumar will be meeting Chief Minister
BS Yediyurappa to discuss the problems faced by the industry.
