Kannada film nominated for Best Picture at LA Film Awards

Many times off late we have heard that this is a revival period of sorts for Kannada films, with many critically-acclaimed movies hitting theatre screens.
Among the recent ones to make us proud is Urvi, which is among the six movies to have been nominated in the Best Picture category at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
Directed by BS Pradeep Varma, the film stars Shruthi Hariharan, Shraddha Srinath, Shweta Pandit, Bhavani Prakash and debutant Jhanvi.Here's hoping that the film wins top honours.
