As the country celebrated its 75th Independence Day, the Kannada film industry's top names came forward to do a video song as a tribute to the nation. All the popular names from the Kannada film industry and Karnataka participated in the song. The main theme of the song was to show the culture of Karnataka and the spirit to celebrate Independence Day.
'Vande Mataram' song is voiced by Vijay Prakash, while the music is composed by Praveen D Rao and the video song is directed by Santosh Ananddram. Kiccha Sudeep took to his Twitter and Instagram handles to share his happiness to be part of the video.

Prominent actors from the Kannada industry like Shivarajkumar, Arjun Sarja, Rishab Shetty and Dhanunjay were part of the song. Apart from actors, prominent people like Bairappa, Venkatesh Prasad were also seen in this Independence Day special song.
Important personalities like Salumarada Thimakka and Jogathi Manjamma are also a part of the collaboration. Salumarada Thimakka was conferred with the Padma Shri award in 2019 for her contribution to the environment. Jogathi Manjamma was also conferred with the Padma Shri award for her contribution to the field of folk arts.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai took to social media and shared the song 'Vande Mataram'. This is an offering to the motherland by Kannada sadhaka," Bommai wrote.
