Kannada film industry springs to the rescue of zoo animals
Following actor Darshan’s public appeal to adopt animals and support zoos in these trying times, several of his colleagues from the industry have done their bit
Upendra: Adopted an African elephant from the Mysuru Zoo
Sharing the adoption certificate on social media, Upendra posted, “As per Darshan’s call, we have adopted an African elephant and joined hands with him in his noble cause.”
Bharath Bopanna: Adopted a leopard and a white peacock from the Mysuru Zoo
Bharat decided to adopt not one but two animals. He wrote, “A small contribution from my end. Adopted ‘Leopard’ and ‘White Peacock’ from Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens.”
