Journalist Gaurish Akki to direct a film

Gaurish Akki, one of the popular film journalist from the city, who used to work with a private channel has quit his job as the head of the film entertainment to persue his dream. Gaurish is on his way to become a film director debuting with the film titled, Cinema My Darling. The shoot starts in July and as the name suggests, the story is based on Gandhinagar which is the hub of the Kannada film industry.
The lead is played by Bihan Gowda who also plays the lead in Agamya and Manojava who acted in Madhura Prema Kavya. The star cast also includes Shashi Deshpande, Shreyas and Rangayana Raghu who plays an important role in the film. The lead actress is yet to be finalized for the film for Raghu Dixit will be scoring music.
Gaurish is a well known personality in the film industry and was heading the film section of the channel the past three years. He started his career as a voice over artiste and went on to serve as a copy editor, programme producer and anchor.
