Jayamala to study about sex workers problems

MLC, Former KFCC president and actress Jayamala has new task on her hand. The state government has appointed Jayamala as the chairman of the experts committee which will study about the problems of sex workers and devadasis in Karnataka
Minister for women and child development, Umashree says, “Jayamala will be heading the 16 members committee which is comprised of sociologists, educationists, doctors, writers, thinkers and women activists.The department has given the approval to set up the committee.” The team will soon start studying about the problem faced by sex workers and submit the report to the government. However, the government has not fixed the time limit to submit the report.
