J Jayalalithaa expressed anger and dismay after the Karnataka High court denied bail to the actor-politician on Tuesday. Reports suggest that Jayalalithaa’s lawyer is planning to approach the Supreme Court to get bail for her.

The police bandobast in and around the HC was tight to avoid any untoward incident on Tuesday.
“We have made all security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents. We have information on a lot of AIADMK supporters and leaders flocking to the city from the border areas of Hosur," ACP (Law and Order) Alok Kumar told PTI in Bangalore.
The actor-politician made her debut as the lead actress in Kannada films while still in school, age 15, in Chinnada Gombe (1964).
