Jaggesh, Aditi Prabhudeva’s chemistry is Thothapuri’s USP: Vijayaprasad
The hit combination of director Vijayaprasad and Jaggesh, which delivered Neer Dose, is back with Thothapuri, releasing next weekend. The project, which also has Aditi Prabhudeva and Dhananjaya in lead roles, will be released in two parts.
On collaborating with Jaggesh for the second time, he shares, “His comic timing is amazing, We both love to work together. Jaggesh loves my working style and I love his mannerisms and instincts. We share great camaraderie and we understand each other so well that it doesn’t feel like we are working. He has truly lived the character of Ere Gowda. There are three songs in the movie, including a duet, devotional number and Baglu Tegi Meri Jaan which have become hits among the masses, auguring well for the release. Music director Anoop Seelin deserves credit for that.”Revealing the reasons for releasing the movie in two parts, he tells us, “We generally don’t see this genre releasing
in two parts, but there are so many interesting sequences and conversations that we don’t want it to be heavy for audiences.”
Vijayprasad
Vijayaprasad says, “There is romance, humour and loads of fun. Above all, there is a deep insight behind every antic, which is the hallmark of my films. The film revolves around three main characters. Jaggesh is Ere Gowda, a farmer and ladies’ tailor, who the common man can connect with easily. Aditi Prabhudeva as Shakeela Banu shows us what it takes to be a good human, without being preachy. I am sure the sizzling chemistry of Jaggesh and Aditi will be a talking point. Dhananjaya is seen as Narayan Pillai. I am glad that the film, which got delayed due to COVID, is finally being released.”On collaborating with Jaggesh for the second time, he shares, “His comic timing is amazing, We both love to work together.
