It's going to be a hot May in Sandalwood

Looking to cash in on the holiday season are Sandalwood filmmakers, as a number of films, many with star-studded star casts, are set to hit theatres next month. Among those that have generated a lot of excitement are Maanikya and Gajakesari.
Maanikya, which stars Kichcha Sudeep, is slated to be cleared by the censor board soon and will most likely hit theatre screens on May 1.
Gajakesari will see Yash and Amulya coming together for the first time. The audio of the film was released recently, and the music by V Harikrishna has been getting good reviews. The dubbing is currently on and the movie will most likely be released sometime in May.
Preethi Geethi Ityaadi, which is the acting debut of director Pavan Wadeyar, is director Veerendra's debut project as well. The romantic drama also stars Sangeetha Bhat in the lead role and will release next month as well.
Other films that are up for release are the Ajai Rao and Shravya-starrer Rose, and Savaari 2, which has Srinagara Kitty and Shruthi Hariharan in the lead roles.
