It is not just Kranti, but also akshara kranti: Shylaja Nag

Challenging Star Darshan’s much-awaited Kranti will release on January 26 next year. Touted to be a mass entertainer, Rachita Ram, who started her career with Darshan, is playing the female lead. The film is Harikrisha’s second film as director.
Shylaja Nag who, along with B Suresha, is backing the film, says, “Education is a very important topic that relates to people of all generations and genders. Starting from the first look and first poster, we have been saying that this is not just Kranti, but Akshara Kranti (revolution of education). Since the film is helmed by Darshan, we have wrapped commercial elements to send out an important message. The content is very strong and everybody will be able to connect to it.”

Speaking about collaborating with Darshan and Rachita, Shylaja says, “Both of them are very professional and committed to their work. Darshan has put in much effort to look a certain way and his efforts have translated effortlessly on screen. In mass films, heroines usually show up as glam dolls and vanish halfway through the film, but that’s not the case here. Rachita has a very important role to play and she herself has dubbed for her role.”
“Darshan is loved and revered by millions across the country. We have ensured that we utilise his voice, stature and stardom to send a strong message about a revolution in the education system. Kranti has become an emotion for Darshan’s fans who are promoting it in their own way. I am indebted to all of them,” she concludes.
Kranti is also Harikrishna’s 27th film with Darshan as music composer. There is a huge hype around the film’s album.
The film also has Sumalatha Ambareesh and Ravichandran in pivotal roles and is set to release in five languages.
